Fluorite on matrix

This beautiful Fluorite on matrix from Hunan province comes mounted on a custom lucite base (with name and location printed on the base). Steve Dowell acquired this from Collector's Edge, several years ago when he had also purchased a couple of rhodochrosites. The Fluorite cube is 3 cm on an edge and has a delightful electric teal blue and purple zoning to it. As pictured in the fifth image, the top-down angle shows how the cube is crystallized on the back with tabular Calcites. It also has an interpenetrating twin on the lower right side of the cube. It has a good bright luster. It's in fine condition, with all edges sharp and exact except for the lower front, which has a tiny cleavage (minor, and evident in most pics, no big deal).
