Huge 9cm white Scheelite crystal that is partially coated by Lollingite on a matrix of Magnetite with green Quartz. We've had a chance now to see plenty of these new Scheelites from Inner Mongolia, and this one still stands out as very large. The Scheelite crystal is partially etched, interestingly in just four places. The etched areas reveal a metallic silver-colored mineral that formed as an epimorph of the Scheelite and was later covered by another layer of Scheelite. An interesting specimen that also has visual pizzaz due to the shiny Lollingite and green Quartz. Big and impressive Scheelite valued at $850+.
