Thumbnail specimen with an orange 15mm Spessartine crystal sitting perfectly atop mica with all the sharp, smooth sides fully exposed. Further removal of mica (which is easily done) could expose the garnet more if desired. As a bonus, there are a few other smller crystals attached to one side. Size 3 x 2.5 x 1.5 cm.
