Absolutely stunning matrix Tanzanite specimen. Matrix specimens are rare enough, but in addition this specimen boasts a number of other great attributes. Let's start with the matrix, which is not 'just' massive Graphite, rather Graphite crystals! There are also TWO Tanzanite crystals present, with the right crystal being totally transparent facet grade. Lastly, a sharp Pyrite crystal and numerous Diopside crystals add color and interest. An attractive and fascinating little chunk of Merelani. Valued at $1000 to $1500.
