Double terminated Quartz crystal colored by inclusions of Montmorillonite (a type of clay). These unusual crystals are a byproduct of Tourmaline mining and were only found occasionally in some of the San Diego mines. Very sharply terminated, hollow in two areas, and highly lustrous crystal faces. This is a great example. Ex. Art Reno collection valued at $280.
