Most of the Boleite specimens from Amelia Mine were detached from the soft clay-like matrix. This specimen a rare example of one that still has Boleite crystals intact and in stable condition on the original matrix. There are at least a dozen blue Boleite crystals with the larger ones measuring about 4mm wide.
