Prehnite from the Merelani Tanzanite mines is well known as some of the best in the world. This specimen is composed of bright yellow Prehnite on the front face. There are lots of well formed translucent crystals. This is an unsual piece in that the back is covered with grey Graphite included Calcite crystals, something I have only rarely seen.
