Two intergrown crystals of Hematite from Chile. Ewell's label indicates \"Martite\" (a name given to pseudomorphs of Hematite after Magnetite) and a locality of Atacama Desert, Chile. However I don't believe these to be pseudomorphs after Magnetite and flat, hexagonal Hematite crystals are known from this deposit. A beautiful and unusual specimen.
