Good sized medium green Emerald crystal, complete all around. Although it may not be apparent from the photograph, this crystal is color zoned. The thin bands alternate between colorless and green and are perpendicular to the c-axis. The crystal is terminated on at least one end. Emerald from Torrington was found briefly during the late 1990’s and production was sparse. This crystal is much larger than most Torrington emerald crystals. This specimen would be a good addition to any collection of unusual gemological specimens.
