Faceted red Spinel from Myanmar (Burma). A nice 7mm oval 0.9 carats in weight. I am not a gemstone expert (I sometimes get such items as part of larger deals), but it has good color saturation and I can't find any internal flaws when looking at it closely with a loupe. Estimated value of $200 (?).
