Long, transparent single Amethyst crystal, highly transparent in the upper half. Great luster and complete all around. This is a good sized crystal for this hard to find old specimen. There is a fractue midway up the crystal, and it's possible this crystal was repaired. Even so, the upper half would make a fabulous 4cm crystal, which wuold still be a great crystal for the locality. Ex. Chuck Trantham collection. Chuck's old label notes that he bought this in 1985 from the Vista Verde Rock Shop in Green Mountain Falls, Colorado for a price of $55, which was a fairly high priced crystal 35 years ago.
