Tan Thompsonite lining a vug in basalt with fine needles of Mesolite on top. Ex. Chuck Trantham personal collection. His old handwritten card indicated it was collected by Chuck and Al McGuinness in August 1965. A vug of Thompsonite like this from Oregon is spectacular and uncommon and I can see why Chuck, a collector who specialized in northwest USA zeolites, kept this one for his collection.
