Mooreite on matrix from the type locality (and one of the only known localities) for the species. Named in honor of Gideon Emmet Moore who studied the minerals of Sterling Hill and Franklin, New Jersey and named the minerals brushite, chalcophanite, cryptokallite, and hetaerolite. Ex.
