Black opal that has completely replaced a section of fossil Bamboo from recent finds in Java. It has a bright play of color (reds, blues, and greens) in areas and also shows fine detail of the former bamboo. These were found in the past 2 years and are uncommon. This is a good sized piece valued at $450.
