Large, feathery-looking pink Tanzanite crystal from a recent find at Merelani. There are lots of small terminated crystals attached to a larger crystal section. Interestingly, the pink color intensifies as it nears the tips of the individual crystals. This is a large specimen for the find, weighing 107 carats. There are also small attached white crystals of a zeolite species on the backside, possibly chabazite.
