Beautiful and interesting large combination specimen from the Merelani Tanzanite mines. The main focus is a vug on one side containing white Calcite crystals, numerous gemmy green Tsavorites, and Graphite crystals - but the specimen has interesting features all over and is a great study specimen. The matrix is solid Graphite with veins of Pyrite and green Tsavorite running through it. There is a gemmy 7mm blue Tanzanite crystal attached to one side, along with other small vugs filled with Graphite and Tsavorite crystals. A fun one I was tempted to trim down, but decided to leave as it because there was so much going on all over it. Valued at $300-$400.
