Red Garnet crystal in a matrix of grey Graphite. The garnet is 1.5cm in diameter. These have been analyzed as mostly Almandine with a touch of Pyrope
in the outer layers. These make stunning specimens due to the fact that the back of the Garnet extends out the back side of the Graphite allowing light to
pass through the crystal. This specimen is also loaded with Dravite Tourmaline crystals - hundreds of crystals exposed on both sides in the Graphite.
