Single spinel-twinned crystal of Spinel. Slightly worn looking but complete with no damage. These were first discovered in 2001 and are found mostly of industrial quality. Though they don't get very large, the color is spectacular. Very good color and transparent (I have noticed that the spinel-twins have the best transparency). In fact, I can see no inclusions or fractures, this appears to be entirely gem quality. A good one! Studies have shown these to be very high in Zinc and could be labelled as Gahnite.
