Large, complex single Pyrite crystal with high luster found at the Merelani Tanzanite mines in Tanzania. The exotic crystal forms and high luster of Merelani Pyrite make it my favorite Pyrite locality, and this crystal is an example of why. There are some natural surface indentations that were caused by growth of other crystals and it's contacted on the base, otherwise complete all around with just a few chips and great overall form and presentation. A bright and shiny Pyrite that's both uncommon and beautiful. These are only found sproadically at the mines. Valued at $250.
