Bright 'citrus' orange Spessartine crystal from famous finds in Tanzania. Most from this locality were partial crystals - this one is crystallized all around. Perfect and undamaged with one negative cast where a former 6mm crystal was intergrown. It's all transparent to translucent orange with areas of gem rough. Weighs a hefty 48.1 grams. This is a large, quality crystal valued at $500.
