Bright 'citrus' orange Spessartine crystal from famous finds in Tanzania. Most from this locality were only partial crystals - this one is crystallized all around and complete, though intergrown with black Braunite on one side. It's all transparent to translucent orange and a very nice crystal from the find, which is no longer producing. Weighs 141 carats.
