Spherical cluster of white Barite on a narrow strip of Dolstone matrix. Hemispherical masses of Barite like this were common enough from Elmwood, but I've never before seen such a complete sphere. The Barite sphere is 9cm in size and is intergrown with small Sphalerite and yellow Calcite crystals. Unusual and undamaged with Sphalerite crystals attached to the matrix. Ex.
