Gorgeous and unusual specimen of blue chalcedony forming a crystallized vug. This material is typically mined for lapidary rough and open crystallized vugs are less common. This is a strikingly beautiful example composed nearly entirely of Quartz with no matrix, with a deep vug in front lined with sparkling drusy Quartz crystals.
