Fan-shaped sprays of lustrous Schorl crystals. This is a nice Schorl from anywhere, but so much more interesting and uncommon as a Nevada schorl. The exact locality is a mystery - comes with two old labels showing 'Gerlach District, Pershing Co.', however the Gerlach mining district is located in Washoe Co., Nevada. Regardless, a very nice Nevada Schorl.
