Well fomred crystals of Sapphirine exposed in a matrix of reddish Phlogopite, Quartz, and Calcite. There are two major crystals to 1.4cm in size and a number of smaller crystals. The Sapphirine are translucent when backlit along the edges. A rich and fine display specimen of this rare magnesium aluminum silicate mineral. Valued at $350.
