Transparent blue Gahnite crystal, the zinc rich end member and one of the rarer species in the Spinel group of minerals. A complete octahedron with a slight chip on the tip of 1 corner. Sharply formed example for the find. These were first discovered in 2001 and are found mostly of industrial quality. Though they don't get very large, the color is spectacular.
