A genuine Pet Rock! The Pet Rock was a gag gift from the 1970s, conceived in 1975 by a local ad executive. These very popular for a time and millions were sold. The rock itself is a beach cobble from Mexico and comes in a box with breathing holes and straw bedding. The box is a little beat up (being over 40 years old), otherwise it's in great condition and includes a copy of the original 32 page 'training manual'. I've included some photos from the humorous training manual full of jokes and gags that refer to the rock as an actual pet.
