Two Ruby specimens. The first is a somewhat flat crystal that appears to be star ruby, this one is 1.3cm in diameter and weighs 1.9 grams. The second is a hexagonal crystal terminated on one end, and is nicely translucent as seen in the backlit photo. This one weighs 2.6 grams.
