Good sized, thick Kyanite crystal from a less commonly seen locality for Kyanite. In fact I have only seen crystals of Merelani
Kyanite a few times, this crystal from a parcel I bought a couple years back (I bought them all because them come to rarely), and this is my last larger crystal.
It's translucent with a very rich blue color, much more so than the typical Brazilian Kyanite.
