An unusual formation of pyrite are the known as Pyrite 'Suns', due to the bright golden color and the rays of crystals
that radiated out from the center like rays of the
sun. These form in seams in slate and therefore grow in a laterally compressed, radiating form.
This specimen has 2 interconnected 'suns' and is a little different than most and I find it very attractive. From an old collection and appears quite stable.
