Chinese carving said to be Shou Xin the Immortal. I obtained the carving as part of a larger collection of minerals purchased. It comes with a certificate prepared by Ian Simpson indicating that the carving is from the Yuan Dynasty. My understanding is that the carving was purchased in the 1970s in China and later sold to the party from whom I obtained it. I cannot verify the accuracy of the certificate or age of the carving. I can say the carving is in great condition and made from a hard, translucent rock that appears to be Nephrite jade. I value this at $200-$300.
