Single, stout hexagonal prism of Hematite, an uncommon crystal form for Hematite that reminds me of a style rarely seen in Kalahari Hematite crytals. Doubly-terminated crystal silvery in color with bright metallic luster. Complete and undamaged with uniform shape though with a contact on one part of the bottom termination where it grew against other crystals. There are also smaller side crystals attached. These are found in an iron mine on an island located 8 kilometers off the coast of Iran.
