Tourmaline with Lepidolite

Large, terminated Tourmaline crystal mined in late 2014 from an undisclosed locality in northern Malawi. The outside has attached purple crystals of Lepidolite and the inside has altered to Lepidolite. There is chatter down a couple edges as seen in photos but overall in good condition and complete all around. Weighs a massive 900 grams. Tourmaline crystals at this year's Tucson show were selling for $100/gram and even higher.  This is admittedly for finer, gem crystals, however even at a modest $10/gram, this would price out at a $9000.  I value it at around $2000 based on it's large size, good green color, and unusual locality.
