Glassy white Datolite crystals on matrix covering the front display face. Found by a friend while prospecting in this area known for Jadeite and Rosenhahnite crystals. These were found in a single boulder that was excavated during construction work on Highway 101. This boulder produced what are considered Californias's best Datolite. Individual crystals on this specimen reach 1 cm in size and are translucent to transparent. Superb piece for a California suite of minerals.
