Glassy white Datolite crystals on matrix. Found by a friend while prospecting in this area known for Jadeite and Rosenhahnite crystals. These were found in a single boulder that was excavated during construction work on Highway 101. This boulder produced what are considered Californias's best Datolite. Individual crystals on this specimen reach 1.3 cm in size and are translucent to transparent. Superb piece for a California suite of minerals.
