Long, slender crystal of laboratory grown Quartz. This came from an old collection that had lots of 1980s era specimens, though the exact date of when it was grown is unknown but likely dates back to the 1950s when these were grown for the telecommunications industry. It's water clear and pristine with dimpled/wavy surfaces over the prism faces and flat, glassy termination faces. These were grown between two metal pins and each tip has a small indentation caused by the pins. Rare historic specimen. Valued at $150.
