Dozens of Cerussite 'snow flakes' on Malachite from Rum Jungle in Australia. The crystals rach 5mm in size and densely cover the green Malachite. In 1871 a bullock wagon delivering barrels of rum to construction gangs became bogged in jungle terrain near the head waters of the Finnis River. They proceeded to drink the rum in a week long party until they were rescued. The area became known as Rum Jungle. This is a fine example recently released from an old australian collection. Valued at $250.
