Cassiterite with Quartz

Long before China, transparent Cassiterite from Bolivia was the standard and this one will not disappoint. Cassiterite specimens from this locality are most commonly found as densely packed groups of crystals. This specimen features a large, single, isolated Cassiterite crystal on a matrix covered by Quartz and Siderite crystals with a single Quartz crystal rising dramatically from the back. The Cassiterite crystal has it all - transparency, good size (2cm), and high luster. It's also complete all around and undamaged.
