Elongated, spiky Calcite crystals from Lyon Co. in Nevada. The larger crystals have smaller attached crystals sticking out at angles giving these the name 'Cactus Calcite'. This is a good sized piece for the locality. An interesting and seldom seen specimen from decades ago. Comes mounted on a Lucite display stand. Ex. Abraham Feinberg collection.
