Sparkling purple Amethyst from the Karur district in India. Karur Amethyst is highly coveted and well known for it's Amethyst rosettes and scepters and is only occasionally available. This specimen features a circular 3cm rosette near the top and glassy Amethyst over a large Calcite crystal in the lower half. The Calcite is a large, white 5cm rhomb. Beautiful, quality specimen valued at $250.
