A carpet of green Pumpellyite covering the entire front surface of specimen. Clear Calcite crystals with yellow cores are sprinkled amongst the Pumpellyite. Pumpellyite is an uncommon sorosilicate mineral first described in 1925 for occurrences in the Calumet mine in Michigan and named after United States geologist Raphael Pumpelly.
