V-twin crystal of color change Diaspore. From new finds in the mountains near Pinarcik, these new Diaspore crystals are spectacular in color and form. Glassy, flat termination faces on one 'arm' with damage to the termination of the other arm - this could have just happened to be where it attached to the rock. Ideally they grow attached at the base of the 'V', but sometimes they attach to the tip of one arm. Still, it's gem quality and transparent inside. Medium purple color in natural sunlight.
